Rotem Bensaadon explores themes of identity, displacement, and personal transformation through her fashion designs. Inspired by her experiences navigating unfamiliar environments, Bensaadon creates pieces that reflect the balance between staying grounded and embracing change. Her current project draws from the earth — both as a literal foundation and a metaphor — incorporating natural textures and materials that symbolize resilience.
Bensaadon’s journey into fashion began with crafting doll pillows at her grandmother’s home in the Middle East and evolved into running a blog focused on repurposing thrifted garments. A graduate of the Art Institute of Miami, she has showcased her work at events like Art Basel 2022 and Miami Swim Week Paraiso 2024.
Influenced by designers such as Thom Browne and Iris van Herpen, Bensaadon sees fashion as a tool for self-expression, empowering individuals to embrace transformation and redefine their identities.
