FIDM Debut 2009 Fashion Show

The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising made its Fashion Week El Paseo™ debut on Thursday, March 26, 2009, by showcasing collections created by its third-year design students.

The 11 students designers were Brenda Ahamad, Mike Cheng, Natalie Hara, Sara E. Lighthall, Adrian Manuel, Lacey Osberg, Clay G. Sadler, Liz Sandhoefner, Charles Ryan Sands, Valentina Vardanyan, and Jonathan Webster.

FIDM — a private accredited college based in Los Angeles and has campuses in Orange County, San Diego, and San Francisco — offers associate of arts programs in apparel manufacturing management, beauty industry merchandising and marketing, digital media, fashion design, film and TV costume design, footwear design, graphic design, interior design, jewelry design, international manufacturing and product development, merchandise marketing, merchandise product development, textile design, theatre costume design, entertainment set design and decoration, and visual communications. In 2005, the school began its bachelor’s degree program in business management.
